Requirements for Admission:
The requirements for NSTU B unit admission test [y]-14 will be published here.
In 2013,
Applicants who passed SSC or equivalent in 2009/2010 and HSC or equivalent in 2011/2012 they are eligible to apply.
Applicants must have total GPA 6.50. GPA 3.5 from Science / Commerce group in SSC or equivalent exam and GPA 3.0 (including 4th subjects) in HSC or Equivalent exam.
Applicants from arts group must have total GPA 6.00. GPA 3.0 in SSC or equivalent exam and GPA 3.0 (including 4th subjects) in HSC or Equivalent exam. Applicant must have minimum C grade in all subjects in the HSC or Equivalent level.
GCE candidates must have minimum B grade in English, “C” grade is not acceptable in any subject.

ADMISSION TEST: 28th -29th November, 2013 (According to Newspaper)
In 2012,
APPLICATION SUBMISSION START: 1st October, 2012
APPLICATION SUBMISSION END: 10th December, 2012
ADMISSION TEST: 26th December, 2012
How to Apply for Noakhali Science and Technology University(NSTU) Admission Test-B unit 2013-14
Application form can be submitted by the Tele Talk Mobile phone by sending SMS to 16222. Go to message option write NSTU(space)3 Key word of Board(space)HSC exam Roll No(space)Passing Year(space)3 Key word of SSC exam Board(space)SSC exam Roll No(space)Passing Year(space)Unit Key word.
Example : NSTU(space)DHA(space)123456(space)CHI(space)102030(space)2010(space)B
The example is for SSC from Chittagong Board, HSC from Dhaka Board & B unit of NSTU.
For different Board the code is COMILLA (COM), BARISAL (BAR), CHITTAGONG (CHI), SYLHET (SYL), DHAKA (DHA), DINAJPUR (DIN), JESSORE (JES), RAJSHAHI (RAJ), MADRASAH (MAD).
After sending SMS, applicants will get a reply SMS consist of applicant’s name, unit name, application fee & PIN number. To confirm the application, applicants have reply to 16222 as like NSTUYES65432101000000000. The PIN number will be given in the place of 654321 & mobile number will be given in the place of 01000000000.
If applicants has enough money in mobile phone then Tk. 500 will be charged and send a sms with Roll Number, otherwise no fee will be charged.
O’ / ‘A’ level in accordance with rule applicants will be SMS to 16222. GCE will be put in the place of Board Name.
Example:
NSTU(space)GCE(space)123456(space)2012(space)B, the candidate no. of A- Level will be given in the place of 123456.
Applicants for quota: The child of freedom fighters quota (FFQ) / tribal quota (TQ). Quota applicants must add a extra key word of Quota at last of the SMS and send 16222 number. Example:
