Steps to fill-up the Passport Form in Bangladesh:
~ To fill up the passport form in ONLINE, go visit this address: www.dip.gov.bd
~ To get any passport-related important information, go to Service Box (on the right side of Home Page) & Click Apply online for MRP
~ To get the online application form, click Continue to online enrollment Tab. Then submit the information required.
~But on the top of the form & below the Delivery Type option, there is an individual box as Supporting Document. General Citizens need not fill this up. Only Govt. Officers, Semi-Govt. officers, permanent officers/employee of autonomous & nationalized organizations, retired govt. officers have to fill this up.
~ On the Passport Type option, general citizens have to select Ordinary.
~ On the Delivery Typeoption select Regular for 30 days or Express for 15 days.
~After completing this, there will be another new form on the same address. But to fill this up, first you have to deposit the passport fee at the fixed bank & collect the receipt. This receipt number is required to fill up the form.
~ Fill up the form correctly & then print it. Submit the printed copy to the related Passport office. After verification, the officer-in-charge will give seal on the form with signature.
~Submit the form to the booth at passport office.
~Officer-in-charge will keep store the information in computer. Then a token will be given.
~For capturing photo go to the Responsible officer with form &token.
~Photo will be captured as the way for National Identity card keeping the same dimension.
N.B.: Photo cannot be captured wearing White Dress.
~Fingerprint will be taken in Electronic Machine
~ Electronic Signature will be taken
~Authority will give another document for receiving the passport. Passport receiving date will also be informed.
~Applicant must have to be present while submitting the application. It is not compulsory to attend for the applicant while receiving.
